Location History:

    We are still currently conducting further research into the history of the property but the following is what we have discovered to date. Current home on property is believed to be built in 1912. Up until 1914 there were only two homes on the street and it was named Wilson Street at the time. By 1914 the street was filled with ready made houses that came from Edmonton and were brought here by Canada rail. We have obtained this data as well as a list of dozens of previous residents of the home through the Lethbridge Museum's historical archives.

    Up until the last family to reside in the house however we could find nothing of historical significance. The client does know that one person has died in the home for certain. The last owner was apparently a very unpleasant fellow and left a lasting impression on the neighborhood. However he passed away after our clients purchased the home. Before this purchase the home did go through extensive renovations and it looks as though the home did not transfer from hand to hand smoothly before this within the previous family.

Client Reports:

    It should be noted that our clients are very credible and have stated that up until living in this house, have had little to no interest at all in this field.

    Clients have resided in the home for 18 months and report activity started a month after they moved in. Clients claim the activity does happen all throughout the home, however, most active areas seem to be the basement, kitchen, and main floor bathroom. Activity described in the home includes hearing disembodied voices, seeing dark shadows, objects being moved, and hearing loud noises.   The activity is reported to happen at all times of the day and night. The family dog and cat are found to often be watching something that is not there, both of them showing particular interest to the NE corner of the home on both the upper and main floor. The dog will either growl or wag his tail during these experiences and he will not enter the basement, becoming visibly upset when the owners go down there.   The cat also seems visibly upset while visiting the basement and will meow a lot more then usual while down there. Clients were able to account for, in detail below. a few experiences they have had in the home over the last 18 months that they found to be particularly odd.

-One day while T was returning home he was approaching the back door with his arms full. He heard D call out to him quite loudly and clearly that she was coming to help with the door (as this is something she will often do). T waited for his wife to come to the door and after a while when she did not, he entered the home himself, finding that he had to unlock the door and disengage the alarm. After searching the home he found not only was D not home but absolutely no one was in the home, and neither a radio or television was on that could account for the voice he heard. T describes feeling slightly sick for a while afterwards, not from a presence, but from the realization of the experience he just had.
-Both T and D have experiences of hearing the other speak to them and then discovering that the other person is not home, or within hearing distance at the time. T has seen a tall black shadow (that he initially believed to be D) pass by the bedroom door one afternoon. D was later discovered to be on the main floor, having not been upstairs at the time.
-On another occasion D was upstairs with their daughter. T was not home at time and no one else was in the home. When D looked down the stairs from the second floor landing she saw clearly the shadow of a person on the wall at the bottom of the stairs (this would mean someone was standing in her Living Room), certain their was an intruder in her home, she bolted down the stairs to confront them to find no one there. She was concerned there was someone in the home so continued to search the rest of the home to find nothing. She also feels she would have heard someone exit the back door if there had been in fact someone in the home. D also hears the wind chime located in the second floor bathroom sound on its own while she is upstairs with her daughter in the other room. There are no windows open at the time this happens nor any breeze being created throughout the home. The attic hatch had been found opened on its own after T had been up in the attic previously and certainly closed it afterwards. This hatch is difficult to both open and close.
-In the basement D has very strong feelings of being watched. She recalls seeing some coats that where hung up down there moving for no apparent reason on their own. Conducting a small experiment she replaced the coats with heavier bags and found those too to move unexplainably. As well, D has reported all of the basement lights being turned on when she arrives in the basement. There are 4 in total, 2 of which are rarely if ever used, and all four require a chain to be pulled to turn them on.
-T and D also recount one evening while watching t.v. in the living room they heard a very loud explosion, this was followed by two more loud explosions, several seconds apart and loud enough to actually shake the house. Thinking that something big must have happened they asked their neighbors if they knew what the three explosion sounds had been created by. They were extremely surprised to learn the neighbors had no knowledge of the sounds nor had they heard absolutely anything like this themselves that night.
D also recounts a recent experience. She was in the kitchen early one morning and felt the family cat rub against her feet and the back of her legs. She looked down to greet the cat and found she was not there, the sensation continued to move up her legs to her lower back and she dropped the glass she was washing resulting in it breaking in the sink. She feels strongly that her hand was pushed and that she was not just startled into dropping the glass. Clients report that two (heavier) fridge magnets have fell mysteriously from the fridge for no explained reason and that there is often a lot of unexplained bangs coming from the kitchen. Clients also described hearing what sounds like someone walking or moving on the floor above them, or the sounds of a heavy suitcase being drug up the stairs. On one morning a heavy statue of a face that leans against a bookshelf was found fallen over on its front. This is a very heavy statue. D has on occasion felt as though something was making movement in the room at the same time as having the feelings of being watched.   D also reports a strong feeling of being watched while she is in the main floor bathroom, and an overall creepy feeling. She describes it as feeling as though someone is right up next to her face and it is very cold.
-Clients also report that their 3 year old daughter has recently had increasing nightmares, having claimed to hear a little boy or girl crying in her room, and describing her dreams as red 6. She also describes seeing in her head , not in a dream (a person whose name sounds like soo nee) tripping on her skirt and falling down the stairs.    Clients report home has been consistently active since they moved in, the only time it had seemed to quiet a bit was after the previous owner's two estranged daughters made a visit to the home.

Walkthrough:

    EMF readings recorded at walkthrough and investigation were found to be steady at 5+. This is high for a home and largely if not all attributed to older wiring. Temperature throughout the upper floor remained steady at 17-19 degrees and the main floor and basement remained at 13-16 degrees. The home was structurally sound and very clean.

Investigation and Experiences:

    During the walkthrough at approximately 4:45 pm Doug felt unmistakable shivers run up his spine that caused his arm hairs to stand on end. This sensation lasted only about 5 seconds and was felt just exiting the kitchen. Again, this time at approximately 10:56 pm the same thing was felt. The second occurrence was only about 5 seconds in duration as well. Doug went in and out of the kitchen countless times through the course of the evening and these unmistakable chills only happened the two times.

    Melissa felt the left side of her face becoming really warm/flush (the house was notably cool). Right after she mentioned to the others that she was having this sensation the KII meter being held in the area of her left side recorded a large fluctuation. This was recorded on both video and audio devices.

    Several times throughout the evening we appeared to be getting responses to some of our questions. Most notably was the response to the question if the entity was a male or female. All indications lead us to believe a female presence is involved. This question was answered the same in several different locations by having the presence blink the lights once for yes and two times for no on our K2 meter. Not all responses to questions were consistent however and this could be explained by the high EMF present at all times in the home most likely due to the previously mentioned old wiring. This also poses a problem in that any power surges or fluctuations in the homes energy fields could provide us with false positives. However these high EMF's can also act as a catalyst for such activity and provide it with the necessary means to communicate with us.

    A voice seems to repeat T saying "go on" in one of our video clips and was also captured on our audio (see below). No one present at the time remembers hearing this voice however and we also don't know who this is. Under voice analysis this voice exhibited human characteristics. We are positive this is not T, Melissa, or Doug. This voice sounds very close to the recorder itself and the two people off camera were both sitting away from it. Nobody was holding the recorder at the time as it was placed on the ottoman.

    Unfortunately no shadows were witnessed during the investigation nor were any of the reported loud bangs and explosions heard personally.

The Evidence:

Clips 1 & 2 - First a shower of orbs above D falls from the top of the screen. After the camera switches back to the main floor a single ball of light seems to be slowly making it's way across the living room and gradually moves out of the shot. Second ,shortly after Doug walks by the same area and two extremely fast moving orbs immediately appear behind him. The first shoots from left to right then a split second later a second one flies even faster from bottom to top. What makes these orbs significant to us is the different directions of travel and the speeds at which they are moving in some instances. Dust and other airborne particles will typically if NEVER exhibit these traits. Dust will move in a steady uniform direction and will never appear to criss cross due to the fact that all pieces will be traveling with the air current. If the air is swirling this will cause a swirling effect not straight lines crossing paths. Due to the other activity within the home and the curious traits exhibited by some of these orbs we are led to believe that some of them, at the least, are paranormal in nature. Dozens of other "orbs" were caught throughout the night on the same closed circuit camera.

Clip 3 - During EVP session in basement a very bright pulsating light flies above T to his left side after being prompted by Doug to turn on the lights that have been reported to activate of their own volition. This is absolutely not dust or an insect. We believe this is the attempted manifestation of whatever energy is being reported by our clients.

Clip 4 - Four events. First in the bottom right corner a misty shape appears for a moment followed by a bright light streaking right to left in the top right corner. Third, on the bottom of the screen again from right to left, something whisks by very fast. We think this could be one of our hands but we are unsure as to exactly why one of us would do such a thing. We try to be very cautious so as not to do such things during our investigations. Immediately after this the fourth occurrence happens as the bags begin to move side to side next to T. Watch closely several times if necessary. T does not appear to bump the bags. It should also be noted that several times in the basement the furnace turned on and off and not once did this cause the bags to move.

Clip 5 - After T says "go on" a voice seems to repeat him followed immediately by Melissa offering her encouragement. The audio from the video footage sounds almost as if it is being run through a water effect filter. This is common as it is believed these voices are trying to come through on a different frequency and it is almost like interference when tuning in a radio. Following the video is the audio from our voice recorder of the same voice. The voice is much more distinct in this clip.

Clips 6 & 7 - Other events captured on the same recorder were not voices but the sounds of activity and physical manipulation of the environment while absolutely nobody or anything we can see is around. Banging sounds and sliding sounds particularly. These noises do not seem to be a product of children or pets because at no point before or afterwards is there any indication of anyone or anything entering the area. Typically children and pets make a significant amount of noise. During the hours of audio analysis these sounds also were very much out of the normal realm of sounds the home typically made.
